Tuesday is Veteran's Day. Do you have any veterans in your family? Watch the video. Do you recognize any of the elements of poetry in the Veteran's Day song? What is the mood of the song?
Ms.Vaughn I think I'm going to cry, but I deffenetly hear meter and the rhythm in this song. My grandfather was in the Air Force back ago too. I did recognize some elements of poetry, and I also saw the rhyme scheme when it rhymed. When I heard the meter I started hitting my knuckles on my computer desk.
This song is a little sad and a little happy, but i'm glad that people are fighting for our country. My grandfather was in the navy a couple of years ago, but one thing that I heard was a little of rhyme and there is rhythm in the song.
